Thank you for expressing interest in participating in this project!
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Office of Women's Health (OWH) funded the development of this e-learning course in response to the need for accessible, innovative training of healthcare providers on how to respond to intimate partner violence (IPV), commonly known as domestic violence. The primary goal of this e-learning course is to train healthcare providers on how to screen, assess, treat, and refer female patients that may be victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
You have been invited to participate in the pilot study for this course, which includes taking two course modules as well as evaluation assessments. After completing all requirements, you will have the option of receiving CEU credits for your participation. OWH plans to use findings from this pilot study to make subsequent changes to the e-learning course and ultimately disseminate it to health care providers nationwide. Your participation in this pilot study will assist efforts to advance the healthcare field in responding to intimate partner violence nationwide!
